Are you struggling to find something for the Foodie in your life? Then you need to check out my Food and Drink Christmas Gift Guide. It is packed full of great gift ideas for your loved ones.

Items marked with an * were gifted. This means that I was gifted the product to try and give an honest review.

Manfood* – £9.95

Manfood is a boutique producer of condiments, pickles and food gifts and their gift boxes are perfect for Christmas. The Whisky Lover’s Trio is perfect for Afternoon Tea, Breakfast and especially for Whisky Lover. The three flavours are Whisky Marmalade, Raspberry Old Fashioned Jam and Hot Toddy Marmalade. I have to admit I LOVE the Raspberry Old Fashioned Jam it is perfect on toast as an evening snack.

Another great gift set is the Cocktail Lovers Trio. In this set, you get Mojito Marmalade, Raspberry Old-Fashioned Jam (I am super happy I have two jars of this) and Gin and Tonic Jelly.

I love that their flavours are so different from anything I have tried before. I don’t think I have ever come across Whisky Marmalade or Gin and Tonic Jelly. They would be the perfect gift on their own or as part of a hamper.

Also, if you use the code aspoonofvanilla at the checkout you will receive 20% off your order until November 31st 2021.

Janda Food* – from £2.99

Janda Food is the sister company of ManFood and is equally as delicious. I was sent the afternoon tea selection gift set. It has Vegan Lemon Spread, Vegan Passionfruit spread and Dairy Free Salt Caramel.

I honestly can’t think of a word good enough to describe how tasty these are. I am trying my hardest to save the caramel and the lemon spread for some recipes in the new year. But to be honest I think I am going to give up and just buy some more because they are delicious.

The Dairy-Free Salt Caramel would be perfect for my Salted Caramel Popcorn Cake if you substitute the ingredients out for Dairy-Free Alternatives. Or you could add some lemon juice and zest to my Vegan Vanilla Cupcakes. Then once they are baked using a cupcake corer remove the centre and fill them with the Vegan Lemon Spread.

Lily O’Brien – Advent Houses* – £30.00

These Lily O’Brien Advent Houses are the perfect early Christmas Gift. They contain 28 chocolates and come in the perfect Keepsake Advent House. The chocolates included are Lily O’Brein’s most popular chocolates including Sticky Toffee, LeCrunch Chocolat, Honeycomb Crispy Heart and Sultana and Crispie Clusters.

Each day contains one chocolate from above except from the 11th and 24th of the month which contains three different chocolates.

Lily O’Brien – Shoe Box Hamper* – £30.00

Lily O’Brien’s are one of my favourite chocolatiers. No matter the occasion they always have the perfect gift, and this Christmas is no exception.

Lily O’Brien gifted me their Shoe Box Hamper, and I have no idea where to start. It is packed full of delicious chocolatey treats.

It includes six boxes of Lily O’Brein’s most popular milk, dark and white chocolate collections and they all come in their perfect reusable Shoe Box.

The hamper includes Lily O’Brien’s Chocolate Desserts Collection, Ultimate Chocolate Collection, Creamy Caramel & Sea Salt Share bag, Zesty Orange Chocolate Pouch, Sticky Toffee Chocolate Pouch and Crispy Heart Chocolate Pouch.

I love how different this hamper is and how you can reuse the beautiful blue box. It really is the perfect gift for a loved one. Or why not gift it to yourself, Christmas shopping is stressful, and we all deserve an early Christmas treat.

Crafty Connoisseur

You need to check out Crafty Connoisseurs for Connoisseurs in your life. It was set up by Steve and Brenda McKenzie. They realised there was a space in the market to help consumers discover new small-batch spirits but also to establish a community of fellow connoisseurs.

Now you can find everything from Gin to Whisky, Tequila to Mixers. One of my favourite products they have at the moment is these Glasswegin Festive Crackers. They have two different crackers just now the Festive Gin Cracker and the Raspberry and Rhubarb Cracker.

If you or your family member prefers Vodka to Gin then why not check out the Jaffa Cake Vodka or the Mermaid Salt Vodka.

There are so many different options at Crafty Connoisseurs. You will be sure to find something for your loved one and maybe even a little treat for yourself too.

Sow Fresh – The Farmer Microgreens – £75.00

Microgreens are eco, healthy, vegan and sustainable. With these kits, you will be able to grow tasty microgreens on your kitchen windowsill.

The Farmer Kit comes with 15 seeds, with enough coir for every grow. It fits neatly in all standard windowsills. This kit comes with a beautiful wooden frame hand-made in the UK. 3 strong and durable trays, 2 grow trays. A spray bottle to mist your seeds and easy to follow, visual growing instructions and recipe ideas.

I love how unusual this gift is. Sow Fresh was started in 2020 during lockdown and since then have gone from strength to strength. It would be perfect for any budding chef or simply a relative that loves being able to grow their own vegetables at home.

Chocolate Moments – Bar of Crisps* – £4.99

If you love combining crisps and chocolate together or know someone who does then this is the perfect gift for them.

Bar of Crisps is a moreish combination of ready salted crisps and creamy milk chocolate. It is the first of its kind in the UK.

My partner was so happy when I received a bar of this to try. He loves the combination of crisps and chocolate, I count myself lucky that I was able to get to try some of this before he demolished it.

The bar comes in a heat-sealed flow wrap, mimicking the notion of a bag of crisps. The smooth chocolate is paired with the crunchy crisps merges the best of the UK’s two favourite snacks.

Another great thing about these Bar of Crisps is that they are also gluten-free.

Christmas Favourites Gift Box – Mindful Mixology* – £29.00

Mindful Mixology’s Christmas Gift Box is the perfect present for a loved one, but to be honest they are so delicious you will need to buy yourself one too. The Christmas Gift box contains two of their most popular cocktails, the Salted Coconut Espresso Martini, and the Lychee Martini. It also includes a festive favourite – the Ferrero Martini.

The cocktails have all been made with either significantly less or in some cases, zero sugar. They are all made using high-quality ingredients such as organic blossom and organic coconut blossom. They also offer a range of alcohol-free cocktails.

One of the things I love about Mindful Mixology is that the packaging is fully recyclable or compossible and their cocktails are vegan-friendly.

When ordering their Christmas Gift Box they will also include a hand-written note or gift tag at no extra cost.

Eats, Drinks, No Wheats Monthly Beer Subscription – £39.99

Eats, Drinks, No Wheats have the perfect Beer monthly subscription for your loved ones. Each month they would receive eight different beers and four complementing snacks.

They have a few different subscription options including Gluten and Wheat Free options, Oat Free, Vegetarian and Vegan. The monthly subscription is sent out on the 21st of each month and the deadline to sign up is the 20th of the month.

What I love about these subscriptions is, finding a gluten-free beer can be difficult, but here you are receiving eight different ones each month from Jubel Beer to Belfield. It is perfect for any coeliac, or even regular beer drinkers who are just looking for something a bit different.

Blue Coffee Box – Subscription – from £7.49

Blue Coffee is the UK’s only plastic-free coffee subscriptions service. Why not buy your coffee-loving loved one a 3, 6, or 12 months pre-paid subscription? That delivers gourmet coffee to their door either every fortnight, every month or every other month.

The one thing I love about Blue Coffee Box Subscription is that they are customisable, meaning, depending on who you are sending this to, you can make all their boxes different. You can choose from a light, medium or dark roast – or a surprise delivery each there and there are also decaf options too.

Blue Coffee Boz offers a Taste Guarantee. Meaning if there is ever a delivery the recipient isn’t keen on they can get it replaced with a different coffee at no extra cost! How fab is that!
